The Farm

Leatherwood Farms is a 70 acre family owned and operated farm conveniently located in Central Virginia between Richmond and Charlottesville. With family ties to the farm extending back to 1889, we are proud to continue farming the land. We use sustainable farming practices to grow our beautiful blooms.

Picked with care

Our flowers are usually harvested within 36 hours of customer purchase. We want you to enjoy the longest vase life possible. The blooms at Leatherwood Farms change each week, throughout the growing season. We begin with anemones and daffodils in the spring and end the season with dahlias and heirloom chrysanthemums in the fall, with over 70 other beautiful varieties in between. Our flowers are available for purchase through the West End Farmers Market, River City Flower Exchange and our on farm stand.
